- grabbing her feet
- moving her arms up and down
- eating oatmeal
- talking (cooing, sighing, gasping, sticking her tongue out and making a noise, etc.)
- playing with toys
- thinking she’s completely alone
- not being fed fast enough
- tummy time (after she’s been on her tummy for a while)
MOM LIFE ::
Rylie still eats every 2 1/2 – 3 hours, but we introduced oatmeal to her a couple weeks ago and she loves it! It’s been so fun to watch her learn that new skill. She seems to eat more and more every day. I’m still supplementing (alternating between breast milk + formula) but it’s going well.
Despite my denial that we’d have to deal with the 4 month sleep regression (where basically all sleep training is undone), we certainly ran into it. Even though she had a full tummy, she would still wake up in the middle of the night. I’m hoping we’re coming out of it though. Her bedtime went from “an exact time” to within a couple hours (between 8pm and 10pm).
She’s a very responsive baby – she loves to play and talk (so much talking! 😉 ). She’ll turn her head to whoever says her name and she gets so excited when Daddy comes home from work.
On April 1st we experienced a new milestone – she can roll over! 😀 However, I’ve tried to have her do it again since then and she hasn’t… she has trouble getting her hips over. BUT, once she gets the hang of it, I feel like she’ll be a rolling machine!
Rylie is getting bigger, stronger and smarter every day and it is so fun to watch her grow! But we still can’t believe she’ll be 6 months soon… definitely a good reminder to take every day and every little thing in!
