When it comes to family photos, I feel like I understand both sides (photographer + client). When Aaron and I first moved to Alabama in 2015, I spent a year and a half primarily working on growing my photography business. One of the first blog posts I ever wrote was titled “why hire a professional photographer.”
The argument I made was that the investment was worth the result. 2 years later with 2 children, I agree it is worth the investment. The catch is, I don’t necessarily have $300 to spend.
So when a friend of mine offered to do a photo swap (I take her photos and then she takes mine), I was all for it. We picked a location, agreed we would hand the other our personal camera so we would immediately have our family photos, and set the date.
I am so excited to have these treasures and share my favorites with you today!
