I knew I wanted to do a trash the dress shoot before I even had a wedding dress. I had seen some gorgeous photos on Pinterest of this style and knew it was something I wanted to do. So after we were married and I had a dress that I didn’t mind trashing (I wanted my daughter(s) to pick out their own dress and not feel obligated to wear mine), we booked a shoot with one of my favorite Northwest photographers.
Because we were moving across the country the week of our anniversary, we decided to take the pictures a month beforehand to ensure we captured the gorgeous Northwest landscape.
