Alabama has had a surplus of rain lately, not to mention the coronavirus.
Both of which has allowed for lots of opportunities to be creative in our daily activities for the kids.
To help my fellow mamas out, I made a list of my family’s must haves when you’re stuck indoors.
Hopefully you’ll find this list helpful or at least inspiring if you’re trying to keep kiddos entertained.

Let’s be real – when you need a break or are not feeling well, the screens come out. What a great chance to binge-watch some family-friendly, wholesome and Biblical shows through Yippee TV. You can find out what Yippee is + get access to my special promo code by clicking here!
Board Games are a huge win in our family too. Some favorites are: Sequence, UNO, Quirkle, Quixx, Monopoly Deal (I hate the game Monopoly but I really enjoy this version. It’s nothing like the board game and is wayyy faster haha), the HeadsUp app, Say Anything, plus classic card games. With the kids, we love to play Connect4, Chutes and Laddars plus a rendition of UNO with our girls (holding up the card and they tell us what color it is). I also got them CandyLand for Easter and a lot of my mom friends said their toddlers love that game.
We have PlayDoh handy and lots of paper + crayons in addition to their regular toys that we’ve strategically gotten to provide endless imagination possibilities – play kitchen, trains, doll house, dress-up, books, etc.
If you have access to a printer, make sure you snag my Animal Feet and Emotions printables.
Aaron and I have been deep into house projects lately which has been a ton of fun! Whether you decide to paint or just do some organizing, being stuck indoors is a great opportunity to get some house projects checked off your list.
