playroom / school room tour

I am so excited to be sharing this with you guys today!

For the last few months, I’ve been wanting to paint our playroom. But while Aaron was quarantined, I found myself growing more and more anxious to get it done. If we were going to be spending a lot of time in this room, I wanted to love it!

So I hauled all three kids to Lowe’s, picked a paint color I liked, came home and painted the entire room within one quiet time and then did touchups after they went to bed.

I got a few things off Amazon to complete the style I was wanting and it turned out so great. It has become one of my favorite rooms!

My goal was to create a fun, natural space for my kids to use their imagination & learn. That means less toys and more creative play. Craft supplies easy to access, lots of books, wooden toys & decor / aromas that help create the airy, natural vibe I was wanting.

This room also partners as where Paisley sleeps, so her crib is tucked in the corner.

I’ll say it again, I love this space!
