I was sitting in the hospital bed holding my fresh baby while thinking what I wanted this summer to be like. I obviously hadn’t given it a ton of thought, and I knew it wasn’t going to be wild & crazy because we’d be caring and adjusting to our newest crew member.
But I still wanted a thought – a theme, if you will – to carry throughout the summer. It didn’t take me long to decide what I wanted it to be.

The overall goal is to live our days flexible. Focus on priorities like spending time with Jesus & family, connect with friends + love and serve others. Make taking care of myself a priority and pursue a life of peace, delight and rhythms. To embrace + create joy in the simplest ways.
