I mean, is it even an Autumn Unit if you don’t start with pumpkins?
Our time together began with a lesson where I shared 5 facts about pumpkins that most people don’t know.
Then we got into our first activity – dissecting 🙂 I gave the kids this printable and we walked through each block before cutting it open and moving onto our second activity where the kids got to touch and mess around with it themselves.
Once our hands were clean, we had our snack. I made pudding (which was very yummy I might add) and followed this inspiration to create our own little pumpkin patch.
