Yesterday, both Aaron & Rick had the day off of work, so the married Shavers decided to go on a little day excursion to a swimming hole to try and cope with the heat.
We ended up at this place called Swan Covered Bridge. It was a nice little creek that had some deep spots that you could swim in.
After we had done some exploring and eaten a late lunch, we got back into the water to cool down.
Aaron was basically a fish. Rick had brought a snorkel and Aaron was obsessed with it.
As we were getting back in the water, it started raining. Which was actually super cool to be in the water and see the raindrops hit the surface.
Overall, it was a fun day. We were so exhausted by the time we left, but it was worth it!
