Summer in Alabama is H.O.T! and humid. It’s a wonderful season full of activities but it also can be overwhelmingly exhausting with the heat. Even though we can tell Fall is approaching (which I am so beyond excited about!), it’s still humid here and you’re best to wear layers.
Similarly to what I did last year, I thought it would be fun to reflect on this past summer and share some of the highlights –
{disclosure:: to me, summer is June – August, so that’s the time-frame I’m working with.}

Although the heat always throws me for a loop, I was excited for this summer because we were settled from our move here, and I felt like we’d be more likely to do things throughout the 3 months differently then we were last year. Sure enough, I’d say we did a lot more and I loved every minute of it.
Now, bring on Autumn – the colder weather, my favorite clothes, pumpkins, holidays, oh – and our baby girl 😉
