Week 35

Symptoms :: Almost every day, usually in the mornings, my body starts to feel extremely “off” – I suddenly become weak and I get lightheaded and the only cure (that I have found) is drinking a couple glasses of juice. Being tired is just apart of my life. I get cramps occasionally which my doctor said is apart of my body getting ready for labor, but they are awfully uncomfortable when they happen. And half-way through this week, I got a cold (for the 4th or 5th time since I’ve gotten pregnant)… so that’s not helping anything haha.

Food Aversions :: Nothing specific

Food Cravings :: Apple juice, dairy, & water (which I drink a lot of but I guess I need to be drinking more… even though I don’t know how that’s possible haha 😛 )

Sleep :: I wake up multiple times throughout the night, whether it’s to go to the bathroom, waking up from a weird dream, turning over, etc., I never seem to wake up feeling rested.

Looking Forward To :: Our baby girl arriving in less than a month (fingers crossed) 😀

Baby Purchases :: Aaron & I went to Babies R Us last night and purchased a variety of things off our registry that we didn’t get at our baby showers (using gift cards & coupons 😉 ).

Fun Stories :: I’ve accepted that at this point in my pregnancy, I’m just going to walk slow and whoever I’m with is just going to have to be okay with it. If I rush myself (walk at the pace I used to before pregnancy) I feel awful afterwards, so I’m making myself take my time. That being said, last night I was walking with Aaron and he was a good 10 steps ahead of me. He turned around to wait and I said, waddling with my left-hand holding my lower back, “Gosh, I feel like I’m going the speed of a turtle. Actually, slower than a turtle.” We both smiled at my unrealistic remark but it did bring me some humor to my slowness. 😛
