books i read in april, may & june 2019

I transitioned from a working-mom to a stay-at-home-mom during these months and I must say it was much harder to find time to read then when I was a working-mom. However, I am still determined to read and listen to books, podcasts, etc.

Here are the books I read this past April, May and June.

April:

I have had this book on my shelf for over a year and I cannot believe I didn’t pick it up sooner. Bob Goff takes each chapter and shares a story from his life (most of them had me laughing out loud) and shares a little thought he has about God at the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

May:

It was harder to find time to read as a stay-at-home-mom, so this month I worked on the same book.

June:

My mother-in-law lent this book to me and even though it took me 2 full months to get through, it was full of great wisdom that I’m thankful to have read. Morris does a wonderful job of combining scripture, personal stories and success stories from others in between his guidance and wisdom of how to handle money and truly receive a life that is beyond blessed.

Aaron and I plan to implement some of the principles Morris laid out and we are expectant and excited to see what God will do. I also have Morris’ first book on my list to read now.
