Christmas at the falls

Christmas activities are still going strong on Tribe Nights this month. Last night we took the hour+ drive to Noccalula Falls to partake in their Christmas at the Falls event. It was an enchanting mix of Christmas lights, decorations, food & classic drinks like hot chocolate, and festive activities including a train ride to view the Christmas lights.

Our evening began with a bite from the food trucks. Rylie was very intent on eating her fries at her own pace and was not moving onto other things until all her fries were eaten.

On our way to the train, we saw a Hot Chocolate vendor and some tribe members grabbed a cup.

Meanwhile, Rylie was showing me the string of lights lighting up the walkway and telling me the colors she saw. Most were incorrect, red was pink, white was “what’s that?” and yellow was blue. I appreciated her effort  though 🙂

The moment of truth finally arrived where we got in line to board the train. Rylie was so excited and ran while yelling “TTTRRAAAAAAIIIIIIINNNNN!!!!”

While waiting for the little engine, we took some group pictures.

Emmaline did a great job in her carrier with Papa. She also was a little portable warmer for him 😛

She loved peaking out at the lights.

Watching Rylie taking in the wonder of the Christmas lights was the highlight of my night.

The chilly temperature took MeeMaw, Amberlyn + Ryan to their warm cars, but we snagged one more picture before heading out.
