We got together with a sweet homeschool community on Monday (5.8) and made dollhouses out of cardboard boxes. My 8-year-old self would have been ecstatic to hear I was happily putting together a dollhouse with boxes, scrapbook paper, felt, cloth scraps and hot glue guns.
Our group had read the book Racketty-Packetty House beforehand so we briefly talked about that and read another book about all the different kinds of homes.
Then we spent our remaining time together cutting, gluing and creating.
I just had the two big girls so I made one for Paisley because I knew she would want to play with one as well.
I gave the girls some peg dolls and they happily began playing with their new dollhouses.
10/10 recommend.
