may 2020 reads

I’m excited to share with you my May 2020 reads today.

Please note I am including the chapter books I read to my girls because yes, that counts 😉

I’ll share the Amazon links to the books in case you want to grab your own copy, but check your libraries (free!) or local used book stores (typically extremely discounted).

Magic Treehouse Series – Book 7 , Book 8, Book 9

All of these Magic Treehouse books are so fun. They’re easy for me to read through in one sitting (while the girls play outside or do artwork), and I love hearing the girls talk about the characters at random times in the day.

The Essentialist

I started this book back in December but I put it down for a while because it’s pretty dry, but it also has really good content that I think it’s worth the read. I also found it slightly humorous how applicable this book was in light of our current season (hello Covid-19!).

Little House in the Big Woods

I’m watching this series on Amazon Prime and it struck me that I’ve never read the books. So I snagged this one off Amazon and it was fun to read. I can see why it’s a go-to school read (mainly for homeschool families) because I definitely learned a lot.

Liking Jesus

I think this is a must read book for everyone who has a social media account. It was so good, convicting and challenging. Definitely will be rereading this one in the future!
