*Forest School or Nature School is best described as learning that happens while playing outside.
This was our last gathering for the Spring Semester, and we’ve learned about Seeds, Butterflies, Wildflowers, Honeybees and Mushrooms & Moss. To wrap up our semester, we learned about lizards.
We read a story that informed us about a variety of lizards and then we jumped straight into our activities.
For snack we had fruits, veggies and popcorn.

Our main activity was to make a Lizard Habitat. The kiddos got to pick a lizard and make him a home in a mason jar.
We also got out our balance balls to practice balancing like lizards.
And of course we had a lovely stack of themed books to look at.
