We had our very first day of Nature Day Forest School on Wednesday, February 8th, and our focus was WEATHER.
I intentionally kept it simple because I wanted to have a chance for families to find our house, get settled, see how it would run, etc.
Snack was a mix of popcorn, M&Ms, pretzels and Bugles. For one activity I made DIY Snow and the kids loved that.
The other activity they had was they could make their own rain bottles. We had rocks, sticks and beans they could put into a bottle and when they turned it slowly it would sound like rain.
It was a great start and the families kept telling me how excited they were to be a part.
