Yesterday, I was on Facebook when I received a notification from a local photographer group that I am apart of. A member of the group had moved studios and needed to get rid of a good bit of her newborn props. Since I am trying to grow my “closet” of newborn accessories, I reached out to her and scheduled a time to meet. A couple hours later, I was digging through countless newborn props like baskets, backdrops, hats, head-wraps, etc.
I created my little stack and told her my budget. She happily told me I could take everything in my pile for the price I offered. It wasn’t much, so I was shocked by her generosity – but very thankful!
I walked out with a basket full of hats, head-wraps, and a little backdrop.
Over and over again I told my new photographer friend what a blessing she was being to me. After we had chatted and Aaron and I got back into the car, I was so encouraged that I’m on the right path of pursuing maternity / newborn photography.
