We love the early birthday party themes to be a play on words that share the age of the kids. So far we’ve hosted:
Wonder Woman (One-der Woman 😉)
When we started thinking about party themes I expressed my desire for a whimsical fairy tale style and Aaron and I agreed on the theme “ONCE Upon a Time.”
I had so much fun piecing this party together. Between décor, outfits and food, we had a blast keeping it simple but elegant.
Dinner was our party favorite, Walking Nachos with donuts for dessert.
Aaron and I rocked King & Queen hats that we absolutely love! They exceeded our expectations in quality and I love the look of them.
Rylie wore her flower girl dress (because you better believe I am getting all the mileage I can out of that 😝) with a tiara I found on Amazon.
And let me just say we had an awesome toddler hair team to get that tiara to stay in place for the entire duration of the party. Contact Amberlyn for all your toddler hair needs 😛
The birthday girl wore a dress from SAM’s Club along with an adorable crown to celebrate her new age.
Our pavilion was right next to the playground which we actually loved because it made our guests feel close but still allowed the kiddos to play. Rylie swung on a big-girl swing and absolutely loved it!
We are so thankful for our sweet family and friends that made time to stop by and wish Emmaline a happy birthday!
And of course there are all those candids we just cannot live without! <3
And you know I wasn’t going to let us get away without taking a family picture.
But of course everyone’s favorite part is to see what the new 1 year old will do with the cake placed in front of her.
To our surprise, Emmaline dived right in and devoured about half of the cake with ease.
After watching her, laughing and getting our desired photos, we decided we should probably cut her off… which she was not a fan of 😝
Overall, I think our girl felt very loved and celebrated!
