Aaron and I had to go up to Atlanta to complete an adoption to-do, but we decided to make it a family trip and do something fun after our 30min appointment. We’ve desired to visit the aquarium for several years now and we decided this was the trip to make it happen. We did some pricing research and decided it was a better investment to get a year pass vs. a day pass so we signed up to become members which made it a really great experience because we weren’t stressed to see and do it all this trip.
We got everyone up and were on the road by 6am. During our 3hour drive the kid’s played with their ocean themed sticker books I got them and I did some adoption paperwork.

We knocked out our appointment quickly which was wonderful because then we could get in on the aquarium fun.
After we parked and got ourselves together, we walked to get our member passes.
Once inside, we were greeted by a beautiful wall of jellyfish. We “ooo”ed and “awww”ed in amazement.
From there we entered the main auditorium where we could see the entrances to all the exhibits. We decided to check out the sharks first.
We made it halfway through the exhibit before Aaron said, “this is one the best investments we’ve made! I’m so glad we got the membership!”
We roamed a few other exhibits, keeping pace with the girls’ interests but also encouraging them to stop and watch for a while.
They had some really fun, interactive options for us and we loved taking advantage of all of it.
By the time we left, we were tired… and some of us straight up fell asleep.
Until next time Georgia Aquarium!
