After a wonderful, relaxing, slow-paced morning on Saturday (6.9.18), we got our swim gear together and headed out to our friend Peyton’s birthday party.
Vien & Kristen are good friends of ours (you’ve met them before in seahawks vs. falcons), so when they invited us to their son’s birthday party, we were all about it.
They rented a water slide which provided lots of entertainment for the kids & adults.
They also had a kiddy pool for younger kids or anyone who wanted to soak their feet. Understandably, this is where we spent most of the party.
As is custom at children’s birthday parties, there was cake & gifts. Peyton was insistent that his friends needed to help him open his gifts, which created chaos but lots of laughs.
Peyton’s younger sister, Addy, was not as big a fan of the festivities.
Rylie was definitely a fan of the party (mainly the water). And she rocked the “swim baby” look with her new swimsuit, sunglasses and sunhat.
After a couple hours had passed, it was time for us to head out. I changed Rylie into dry clothes and we thanked our hosts for the invitation.
Overall, I’d say it was a success and a confirmation that Rylie is a huge fan of water. Watch out lakes, you’re next 😝
