Rylie constantly impresses us with how quickly she picks things up, and with her turning 3-years-old this November, we decided it was time to start some light school work in addition to her daily learning of the world around her.
Of course I went all out and took pictures of her. She was all about it too which has made it extra fun!
We recently got her this Buzz Lighter backpack and she has loved wearing it.
And of course, I had to catch Rylie and all of her personality 😛
When it comes to our curriculum plan, it’s pretty relaxed but we do have some big targets we want to hit.
- Nail down the alphabet
- Be able to write capital and lowercase letters
- Continue to grow how high she can count
- Be able to write numbers
- Be able to write her name
- Nail down the colors
- Hear more Bible stories and continually incorporate the Lord and his word into our day
- Adjust and help with our new baby
Count to 100 || Wipe Clean 1-2-3 ||Wipe Clean Beginning Pen Control || Wipe Clean Lowercase Letters || Wipe Clean Capital Letters ||Alphabet Picture Book ||Bible Stories || The New Baby || Very First Colors || Lift-the-Flap My Busy Day
We also recognize there is so much learning just in the day-to-day, through playing and reading stories, so those are high on our list as well.
We are so excited to begin this journey and Rylie is equally excited to start more structured learning.
