If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have seen that our business, Shaver Closet, is back 😃
If you need a refresher on what Shaver Closet is, it’s basically a name for reselling. We help people find gently used top brand, good quality items for far cheaper than purchasing it brand new. We take the time to shop thrift stores / garage sales / our friend’s closets and find the goods, clean it up and then represent it to our peeps. Our heart is that you will save your money and invest in something slightly used vs. paying the extra $ to get it brand new.
I had been playing around with the idea of bringing back SC, but when I started clearing out my own closet, desiring a fresh look and immediately thinking of thrifting to aquire my new pieces, I was instantly reminded at how much fun I have thrifting and how much money I’ve been able to invest in other areas of my life because I buy used clothes.
“Used” does not mean crappy. “Used” means resourceful.
So on our anniversary, I decided I wanted to bring the business of reselling clothes back. After unexpectedly dropping off in July 2017, almost a whole year later, I decided to announce that Shaver Closet was back in business.
I will say that the first go around was a good learning experience. I learned which brands / items to invest in, what sells quickly and what I still have in my inventory. I’ve narrowed down which brands I’m interested in, which helps me to stay committed to finding only the best. You can expect to see the following brands make a frequent appearance:
- Vans
- Converse
- Nike
- Adidas
- Victoria Secret
- Pink
- NorthFace
- Coach
- Fossil
- Michael Kors
&
- oldies but goodies 😉
I’m not a fashionista and I really don’t keep up with the fashion world, but I love thrifting and I enjoy helping others find awesome stuff! To me, there is such a high that comes when you score at the thrift store 😃
My goal is to make Shaver Closet an easy place for you to find your own score, and we can celebrate together! 😉
