spencer’s baby shower

Understandably, I was questioning having a baby shower for baby #4 because, well… baby #4. But once we found out we were having a boy, I instantly wanted a boy shower.

I wasn’t wowed by what I saw on Pinterest when I typed in “boy baby shower.” The popular themes of trucks, jungle and forest wasn’t screaming my vibe. Then I saw one photo that I really liked and pulled all other inspiration from it. I shared the board with Amberlyn (my sister-in-law) who was putting together my shower for me just as a way to show her the vibe I was wanting.

Well, that gem of a lady literally brought my Pinterest board to life. From the pallet board table to the food choices, Amberlyn made me feel so loved.

the food was a huge hit and I really just enjoyed sitting and chatting with my friends.

& of course, Bunny was a welcome guest ;P

I opened gifts after my friends had left and Paisley was particularly drawn to this puppy-lovey.

It was such a beautiful evening and I am so thankful and blessed by all the ladies who contributed and came to make the night a special one to celebrate Spencer & me.
