Sweet Springs Retreat in Guntersville, Alabama is a 4-acre property that has 13 tiny homes and a large cabin available to rent. We stayed in a tiny home (4.15-17.24) which has a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and loft.
At the end of the neighborhood of tiny houses is a little playground and bikes you can use. My kids were all about this space.
Behind the houses is a cute pond that you can kayak and fish in. The kids enjoyed walking around it, tossing rocks and hunting for all the sounds.
The giant event center has two inflatables, sports and arcade games. We spent a lot of time here. Watch the YouTube video below for the inflatables (and see Aaron’s and I on them ;P ).
Of course, we loved roasting s’mores at their community fire pit.
They do have a couple hiking trails but they are very steep. We had fun though.
Our family loves the city of Guntersville so we went off the property to a local park and enjoyed their playground and splashing in the lake. The town itself is adorable and there’s lots of dining and grocery options if necessary.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place if you’re hosting an event or getaway that includes a variety of friends or a family reunion. Everyone having their own tiny house but also enjoying community spaces is perfect.
