week 1 with spencer

The beginning of our first week with Spencer was spent in the hospital.

Once we got home, we were greeted by very excited big sisters eager to meet their baby brother.

Although the first several minutes were exciting, Paisley did have her realization that Baby got a lot of my attention and she was not a fan. The best I could offer her was holding her hand, which she reluctantly accepted.

Early the next morning, three little ladies climbed into our bed.

Spencer and I left shortly after for his first pediatrician appointment.

We came home just in time for lunch and quiet time, which we all took part in.

We had pizza and a lot of giggles for dinner.

Side note – I couldn’t help but capture Shaver carrying Spencer around in the Moses basket (which we’ve used quite a lot 😉 ).

Friday (5.29.21) we chilled around the house.

Sunday (5.30.21) was Spencer’s due date and we kicked it off with an outing to church.

Monday (5.31.21) was Memorial Day which we spent with the tribe.
