My good friend Kendyl and her new husband, Zac, are currently embracing some well-deserved rest and time alone after a gorgeous wedding this past Saturday (10.6.18).
The bridesmaids arrived to get ready promptly at 9am and we used every moment of time we were given before heading to the ceremony location at 12pm.
There was a mix of touchups, professional photos, and just hanging out as we waited for the ceremony to begin. Kendyl was a vision in her wedding dress and such a gorgeous soon-to-be-wife!
Kendyl and I had some really raw, personal moments before the wedding, and I am so thankful that I was trusted enough to partake in them. <3
Once the ceremony started, behind-the-scenes photos ceased and I just soaked up the event. The ceremony was 15 minutes and full of happy-tears. The reception that followed was a lot of fun and the newlyweds did a wonderful job of keeping the traditional stuff (dances, cake cutting, exit, etc.) quick and to the point. The dancing that followed was a lot of fun and led to lots of laughs.
By 7:45pm, Mr. and Mrs. Crooks were headed off to their honeymoon.
I was honored to be a part of their wedding and I am so thankful to have Kendyl as a friend.
