Unexpectedly, I’ve found that one of my favorite times of the year is that week between Christmas & New Years. I find myself excited for the potential and freshness of a new year and all the year in review stuff just brings me joy.
My word for 2021 was Grow. When I first brought this up, my voice sounded very indifferent. But Aaron quickly jumped in and said “oh my gosh – you’ve grown so much! I mean, just …..” and he proceeded to list several areas I really hadn’t thought of. Once he highlighted them, I started realizing I had grown in some pretty subtle yet significant ways and areas.
2021. From moving to a place we had sacrificed so much for years to finally obtain, to the birth of our son, adjusting to life with four kids 4years & younger, battling post partum struggles for months, starting full on homeschooling, launching a “show,” growing a business (tripled in growth since last year), sickness, death, laughter, joy and more! Goodness… what a year.
