it’s not new news that Spencer eats a lot. I mean, a lot! he’s a big boy and I’m tired. he wakes up twice a night (minimum) and despite my attempts to soothe him, he’s starving. I know this because he chugs and eats a full meal when I give in and nurse him.
I called the doctors office just to get some outside perspective and they encouraged me to start giving him oatmeal. they recommended I give it to him at dinner time to help put some weight in his stomach which would hopefully help him sleep longer through the night.
the girls had been anxiously awaiting this moment since we bought his oatmeal at WalMart the day before. when the moment finally came, they were all eager to watch and help.
he caught on incredibly quick and surprisingly did not spit a ton out.
One strong difference he had from the girls’ first “real food” experience, in true Spencer fashion, he ate it all. Gone.
Here’s to the first of many, many meals!
