Even though Highlands College is only a 2 year program, our journey has been anything but short. 2 tuitions, 2 pregnancies and 2 babies delivered in the middle of the semester, books to read, papers to write, deadlines, graduation requirements, a mission trip, and 10ks. Phew, Iβm tired just reading the list.
I started Highlands College pregnant with Rylie, and now I am a mom of 2 girls (both are lovingly known as our “Highlands College babies.” π ). Going through Highlands College as a wife, mom, and employee is hard. Really hard. But it’s so worth it! The amount of wisdom I received both through class and through the relationships I built is immeasurable.
For my final paper, I had to write about my experience in Highlands College and it made me reminisce about my HC journey. So I grabbed some old blog posts I wrote during my time in school. I hope you enjoy reminiscing with me π
