The Creek Crest Cabin at Welcome Valley Village – Ocoee River Cabins in Ocoee, TN was a secluded space that truly brought tranquility and nature together. Our cabin comfortably hosted our family of six with beds to spare.
After our bags were set down, we immediately ran outside to explore. There was a wide path that led straight to a private fire pit and access to the river. We watched and dreamed of warmer weather when families probably spent all day playing in it.
After some games and dinner, we headed back outside for s’mores around the fire.
Bedtime felt extra special as we curled up in the loft for story time.
We woke up to a rainy morning which only added to the coziness. We ate breakfast, did some homeschool bookwork I had packed, read and played games.
After a while we got a little stir crazy, so we braved the rain and explored the property.
When we got back to the cabin, Aaron made a fire… like the cabin could get any cozier!
After dinner, the rain stopped and we sprinted to enjoy the onsite basketball court.
Of course, two of my four kids probably got my husband’s basketball gene and could have spent hours practicing bouncing the ball.
Bedtime was similar to the night before – coloring in bed while Aaron read our bedtime story. The four beds in the loft were a huge hit with all of us. Aaron was even trying to figure out how to replicate it at home haha.
Welcome Valley Village has five other cabins and a few pioneer wagons on their property you can stay in. Regardless which you pick, this peaceful property is a great place to get outside and make a variety of memories.
