This unit of Nature Day Forest School is all about GARDENING. We’ve focused on planning your garden, seeds, bees and worms. Today we learned about flowers.
For our lesson we had some discussion and read a sweet book of a girl who took one sunflower seed and turned it into a field full.
Snack was a free expression of a flower with fruit for petals.
We had lots of free play today – coloring, sensory bin and a place where the kids could make their own flower bouquets.
